Hit up these awesome festivals this summer!

Bonnaroo-Manchester, Tennessee

June 11-14

With a lineup chock-full of the most popular artists, Bonnaroo is easily one of the most renowned music festivals in the country. This year, the three day festival features headliners of all genres, including Billy Joel, Deamau5, Mumford & Sons, and Kendrick Lamar, among hundreds of other artists and bands. Along with best in music, Bonnaroo is also a prime spot for food and drink vendors, shopping, art, and movies. Bonnaroo is an awesome outdoor music festival experience that you will not want to miss.

Summerfest-Milwaukee, Wisconsin

June 24-28, June 30- July 5

Experience the best of Wisconsin with music, beer, food, and more. Summerfest is one of the largest festivals that features a wide variety of bands from all over the world. This festival extend overs 11 days with appearances from over 800 bands. From kids’ shows to hard rock, the 11 stages on the Milwaukee Summerfest Grounds offer many choices of entertainment for all. Burning Man-Black Rock City, Nevada

August 30-September 7

This eccentric festival is known for a lot of things, but art is definitely the most popular term associated with it. While the attendees of the concert vary from free-spirited hippies to driven celebrities, art seems to be a thing they all appreciate. The concert features many impactful art exhibits, and the focus is on the large statue of a man that gets burned down at the end of the festival. In addition to featuring art, the Burning Man Arts also supports it by funding art grants, and program to encourage art and civic engagement around the world. Your admission will get you a peek into the culture and art of Black Rock City, while also helping to support burgeoning artists.

Comic-Con International-San Diego, California

July 8-12

While this is often written off as a festival for computer geeks and nerd, Comic-Con has actually become a more popular and respected festival across the world. If you’re into the world of comics and super heroes, a trip to San Diego this July for Comic-Con International may be just what your little heart desires. At the festival, fans can see their favorite characters, authors, directors, and actors, and get the chance to interact with them through panels and workshops. All the while, super-fans get an excuse to dress up as their favorite characters in public without getting mocked. Flaunt your inner-geek at Comic-Con this summer.

Bacon Fest-Kettering, Ohio

August 16

Bacon has stolen the hearts of many with its savory flavor, and greasy goodness and crispy crunch. If you consider yourself a bacon-lover you’re going to want to take a trip out to Kettering, Ohio for the Annual Bacon Fest. Here you can experience the free festival with filled with endless opportunities to eat and savor your favorite breakfast side. Taste of Chicago-Chicago, Illinois

July 8-12

This is perhaps one of the most acclaimed festivals in the nation, and with good reason. Summertime Brews Festival- Greensboro, North Carolina

July 18

The hottest event in beer tasting this summer is the 11th annual Summertime Brews Festival in Greensboro, NC. This event for those 21 and up and features samples from a large lineup of beer companies. Here you can find your favorite ales, lagers, IPAs, and craft beers on tap and ready to pour. Enjoy your favorite frothy brews with music, food and more at the Summertime Brews Festival this July.

Texas Tequila and Margarita Festival-Galveston, Texas

June 19-20

Don’t mess with Texas and their tequila. Texans know how to make a mean margarita, so if you think you can handle it, travel south for the Texas Tequila and Margarita Festival. Sample your favorite tequilas paired with snacks to enhance the flavor. Then be the judge at the Margarita Grand Tasting, where cash awards are given away to the top three individuals as well as the top three restaurants with the best margaritas. Not to worry, chips and salsa will be found in every corner of the festival to compliment your delicious drinks. The festival also features music, beach volleyball and a fajita cook-off.
